Workshop on Technologies of Life Support and Assistant Robots

Improving the quality of life (QOL) is a significant issue in the progressing aging societies all over the world. Manyadvanced and high-quality technologies have been applying to contribute in the QOL improvement. Among them, robotics with support and assistant functions are considered as important and attractive field. This session focuses on innovative researches and technologies related to the life support and assistant robots. The contentsinclude innovative devices, robots and systems for life support and assistance, advanced sensing and monitoring devices and technologies applied on support and assistant robots, rehabilitation devices, robots and systems, informatics, control, mechatronics and robotics in life support and assistance. This session also welcomes all researches and technologies regarding innovation and challenging in support and assistance technology in addition to the above technical issues. The review process will be double blind, all submissions have to be in English and with paper length of 6-10 pages.

The topics of the Workshop on Technologies of Life Support and Assistant Robots include but not limited to the followings:
